Maria Magistro is an artist and photographer recognized for her sophisticated design sense and relaxed approach to lifestyle portraiture. Passionate about both travel and photography, the native Southern Californian, eventually moved to San Francisco where she expanded her talents into the creation of greeting cards. A natural union of her two celebrated interests. Today, Maria lives in New York where she runs Magistro Design and Photography

A graduate of the University of Washington and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Maria has art directed and created product for Schuman Fine Papers, Northern Exposure, Gibson Greetings, Renaissance Greetings, as well as develop her own line of hand-crafted cards over much of the last decade. Her latest successful endeavor, PRISM, is a reflective greeting card line that celebrates meaningful moments through color.
